I think it is important -- beyond the current trees issue -- to have a site to inform and involve citizens in Beacon government. Keeping people speaking out and coming to meetings is the best way of being heard and getting the right solutions for the community. While electeds end up in the hotseat sometimes, it's great. Keep coming.

Thank you, Lee! The initial removal devastated a lot of people. I think this event has definitely motivated ME to be more active and attend more city meetings.
I do have a question everyone. It would be great if you could answer it, Lee. Was this discussed with the public or presented to the citizens before it happened? I've spoken to people that attend a lot of public meetings and none of them new about this. Thanks!
